Jota, fandango and seguidilla are their core reasons.
Voices, skin and wood are their assets.

The history of Vigüela is the story of a vital surrender to a cultural legacy of a wild and very ignored beauty: the traditional music of the center of the Iberian Peninsula. The music from the land of Don Quixote de La Mancha.
They have played all over Spain and also in Great Britain, invited by the BBC, and in Portugal, representing Spain at the Festival Bons Sons 2012, as well as in world music stages in Europe, like Førdefestivalen (Norway), Urkult Festival (Sweden), Fonó and Babel Sound Music Meeting (Hungary), Mazurkas of the World (Poland), the tour Klangkosmos (12 concerts), France (tours of 10 and 8 concerts in 2021 and 2022), Mediterranean Music Festival in Switzerland or Womad UK, Poland, Slovenia, Portugal, Serbia, Uzbekistan.

They have conducted music and dance workshops in Spain, England, Poland, Cyprus, Sweden, Germany and the Czech Republic.

“Viguela´s release ticks the holy trinity:
It is brimming with raw organic passion for the music and traditional instruments of the region.
It has been thoroughly researched, akin to the dedication of a musicologist.
It is performed with expressive playfulness and contemporary experimentation which helps to give it global appeal, thus transcending the boundaries of its origins.”
